Education

Over the last twenty years we have been helping individuals achieve their goals in education through a variety of means best suited to their situations.

Our primary support is aimed at students from the upcountry region of Sri Lanka who are living below the poverty line. Most of these students’ families earn a living through daily labour and are unable to obtain a basic education due to financial or resource limits.

The Give Forward has volunteers on the ground in Sri Lanka who help us find schools that could use assistance and who ensure that any projects undertaken are completed appropriately. Often times we focus on providing a library that helps students not only become better proficient at their mother tongue but also at English in order to help open the door to international collaboration. This is achieved through both the library but also the assistance of volunteers and donors.
